Evangel Cable Television is the campus cable television station, which broadcasts both campus and national events and programs. Strobelight, a music and entertainment news program, Sports Update, a sports news show, and Newswatch, a straightforward news show, are all produced on campus by students. All of the anchors are also Evangel students. This talent is chosen by holding auditions open to all Evangel students. All three television shows have also been awarded first place by the Missouri Broadcast Educators. ECTV also produces programming in the field, such as football and lawn concerts using its mobile production vehicle
